Overview

As part of the response to a threat from Mobius Rook, three Guardians were sent on a aquisition mission to Sigil in the Planescape systems in order to retrieve a non-science based space-capable ship. Magically powered vessels, these are known as Spelljammers. The specific spelljammer chosen by the team was the Neogi Deathspider. Upon retrieval the Spelljammer has been refit with Jaunt technology to make the craft the first Guardian Jaunt Ship (GJS).

In the interests of public image and a stamp of ownership the Deathspider was renamed Thac0. Catapault and ballistae mounts have been replaced with beam weaponry. The craft's basic propulsion is still magic based, and thus requires use of a magic user to pilot via its Helm. The following is the base schematic:
